CEIT is primarily focused on the smooth setup and running of its flagship International Trading Programme (ITP). ITP is a niche programme that provides students with the requisite soft skills, technical knowledge and business acumen necessary to succeed in exciting and rewarding careers in the entire international trading value chain. The Centre will also engage industry partners in both academic research and applied consultations, and organize workshops and conferences for the trading sector to spur knowledge creation and sharing. CEIT takes a proactive role in encouraging industry partners to provide two-way feedback on curriculum design and implementation, offer internships and full-time placements to ITP students and graduates respectively, as well as to sustain and grow the programme and research capabilities of the CEIT.
