Appointment: Senior Lecturer

Focus Group Discussions and Surveys with NTU students and teachers involved in the course, HW0105 Academic Communication in the Humanities and Social Sciences, a first level communication course for humanities and social science students. The course was revised to include smaller class sizes, ungraded writing exercises that built toward two drafts before a final submission of a written essay. Students each had a half hour consulation to discuss their draft in detail. Students did this entire process twice during the semester, submitting two final argumentative essays. The grant was designed to see how these revisions impacted students and teachers.
