OPTIMUS - Centre for OptoElectronics and Biophotonics is a research centre hosted by the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). The OPTIMUS was established in July 2011. To better achieve our mission, OPTIMUS has engaged in numerous emerging R&D activities in tandem with the development of photonics technologies in the world. Also, OPTIMUS has engaged our local industrial partners on training specialist manpower, consultation and advisory services as well as joint research collaboration to tackle emerging technologies issues.
