Abstract:

Styles, SJ (2020) Why do Babies Babble? (Info Sheet/Poster) "Babbling is a series of exercises that little ones use to develop strength and precision in different muscle groups. Babies who babble can hear what their voice sounds like, and compare it to the way adult voices sound. This feedback during learning allows a baby to experiment with the way they make their sounds, and work towards sounding more like adults."
